The mercury is dropping, and the days are getting shorter, but it hasn’t stopped me from making the most of the daylight hours. Jake has become quite the little alarm clock – getting me out of bed right when HE thinks it’s time. Recently, that’s been close to 5:30am.
But in all honesty, it’s been prettty nice. I’ve seen some spectacular sunrises, been able to walk the dog in what little light is available outside of our regular working hours, and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the early morning, when much of Australia is still in bed – including the tradies that would otherwise wake us up with their machinery and music. Hey, I’ll take what I can get.

I haven’t posted in a while, but I have been reading. It seems like your new house has quickly become a home, and such a fun place to build a family.
Watch out Jake, you soon won’t be the only early morning “alarm clock”. =)
