Hosting Christmas was what we imagined would be the best way to break in the new house. We were right.
With 12 people, (and a demanding black lab) arriving for a late lunch/early dinner, the house felt festive, but smelled even more so. Megan set the bar high early with an amazing entree of king prawns on a tomato/watermelon salsa – refreshing on the hot, 31c day. I had burnt feet by the time I finished the prawns on the BBQ in the backyard. While warm, we discovered the house has great cross ventilation. We opened up our bifold doors and the breeze took over – perfect.
