It’s hard to believe that Katoomba, and the Blue Mountains can change so much from one season to another. Just recently, we took my family up to Katoomba, Leura, and the surrounding area on their visit to Australia. It was our first summer visit to the area, and what a change from our previous visit, during the fall.
The weather allowed for great bush walking around the rim of the Jamison Valley, where it seemed every 20 meters there was a new and spectacular view to be found. Of course, I brought my camera along – why wouldn’t I? I may have kept the family waiting from time to time but frankly, I think it was worth it.
