We planned a wedding, built a house, and are now trying to fill it. We just got one step closer.
Megan is pregnant!
At almost 16 weeks she is, as expected, quite tired, which leaves me to do much of the work around the house. But to be honest, I couldn’t be happier.
While I continue to work on the landscaping, much of our time has now shifted to prepare for the new family member that is expected to arrive around October 1st.
That’s all for today – just thought I’d share with you a bit of the good news that we’ve been blessed with.

We were hoping our situation panned out like yours – wedding, house, baby, but no. We’re doing it the hard way
We had our first prelim contract signing, at the end of January and were told, as long as the land approval on the land goes according to plan, our house (Metricon Milano 30) should be finished by the end of September. One week later, I find out I’m pregnant!! So looks like house will be finished and I will be ready to pop all within a week or so.
We’re still at early stages with our build – next tuesday is our internal colours and electrical meeting and the bureaucrats (Sydney Water!!) are holding up the registration (and subsequently settlement for us) on the land with council, so at this stage, it looks like there’ll be baby before house!

I have friends with early October birthdays who have told me their parents were celebrating the new year… ; ) Super excited for you guys!!
